4d55t Coolant Temp Sensor wiring

So I’m finishing a 1985 ford ranger project with a 4d55t that someone had before me and I’m trying to figure out the wiring for the coolant temp sensor. I just need to know what color wires go where. It’s a 2 prong sensor and I’m pretty sure one wire goes to glow plug controller and the other to the temp gauge but I can’t figure out what wires it is. I don’t have any with a plug or anything. A wiring diagram would help a lot.

Use a volt meter to see if it has a resintance range. Because it might be 2 wires to 2 different controllers. Or it could be line in and line out.
I thought we had a manual in the manual section for the 4D55
