I should have been able to find this in the shop manual or Chiltons, but no luck. Can anyone share the torque specs with me? The 4D55 and 4D56 should both have the same torque, even though the 56 has different voltage requirements.
I thought that I remembered 11 ft-lb, but I don't trust my memory. I did 7.5 ft-lb for the time being just to avoid stripping the threads. A friend of mine did that, and had to have a specialist machine the threads back into the head. That isn't where i want to be ;-)
