Hey all, I'm looking at getting inner and outer tie rods ends on RockAuto.

For the outer tie rod end there is a Delphi TA1196
For the inner tie rod end there are two PNs, Delphi TA5092 and TA1197

Does anyone know the difference between the two inner PNs? I don't see any info regarding 2WD or 4WD.

1 should be left.. and other is right.. it should say in the description... funny thing is I was also looking up those exact same parts but for the rwd truck yesterday for mine..

From what I've found there isn't a left and right.

Looks to me like the RWD has different left and right inner ends but the 4WD doesn't on RA. Also from Mitsubishi it appears left and right are the same on 4WD.

Just to clarify, this kit appears to be for 2WD, right?

Is the consensus that 4wd has same inner and outer on right and left sides? (At least in my 1982 Power Ram).

AFAICT, tie rods for RWD vs. 4WD are entirely different, and inner vs. outer for each are also different; however:

4WD left/right outer ends are the same;
4WD left/right inner ends are the same;
RWD left/right outer ends are the same;
RWD left/right inner ends are different.

I recently got a full set of ends for my RWD and decided to go with Mevotech Supreme (listed under the Daily Driver category on RA), as some cursory research indicated that brand and grade seem well-regarded (not so much the Original Grade version listed under Economy). Haven't installed them yet, but they look just fine and have nice blue silicone boots.
