I’m from NSW Australia, I bought my first l200 in 1984, an ‘82 4x4 mb, then had a few tritons
4-5 years ago I bought a 1985 4x4 l200 with only 28,000ks on it , with the plan to put a galant vr4 motor in it, but I think it is too good and original to modify
so I now have a 1984 4x4 as well which I am in the process of putting a 5sp triton box, triton front diff, challenger rear diff with triton centre, challenger brakes ( 4 wheel disks) , triton power steering and motor probably a 4g63 starion block with vr4 head etc or a 4g64 from an l300 van with a 12b starion turbo
it won’t happen overnight

I picked up 2 4g64 8v 6bolt motors yesterday, which we only had in l300 vans from 1986-1993, so I will probably use one of them I my l200
