I just made a new purchase..good deal on pro-tube manual benders, $199, $38 shipping....it only goes up to 1 3/4..That is all ill even need, and with the price 100 off, cant beat it...want it now...I hate having to wait for things to deliver.
I think ill weld up a stand and make it into air and vertical..

You have a link to this bender? It's not a Pipe bender, is it?
They push in the center of the bend and make a bend like an exhaust bender machine.
Pipe bender, from harbor freight. It will bend but wrinkles the mettle.

This is the one I have.
I picked it up years ago and the price is the same now as then.
I think I spent around 2300 with some dies.

nope..its the real deal, a friend of mine has this one, i used it a ton til he moved... it is just like the JD2 model 3... its a lighter duty, perfect for me, my friends was used for 5 years in a shop and no problems with bending up to .25 wall tube once he made it air over hydro....

Did you check out the tube cells? It has a robotic arm to pull and turn the tubing. OK so you want how many of them? We can do that. Thats some wild shit..

OH, if you looking to get a notcher. I'm using the Williams low buck notcher. Found in the irvansmith web site. I have been using it for years and never replaced any thing. Yes there are better ones out there but after 20 years of service and never used a bit of electricity or parts I'm sold. It works best for but notching. But it is time to have the 1.75 cutter turned down to 1.50. This will save me time on the grinder to finish out the notch. I have been using the 1.25 all this time.

i have el cheepo Harbor freight notcher....it was 39 bucks i believe, keep it greesed with a good cutting bit and it works fairly well, I did have to shim it out to center the notch on the tube.....for the little use it gets it does well for me.

Payrion.. you need to move near me so you can coat my truck.
Well i broke down an just bought a JD2 tube notcher today.
Now I can make the bad ass hard angles faster. No more hand grinding all the tough ones. So version 2 of the baja trucks will be ready for production and shipping as kit cars.

Get the old tweaker place next door. 3/4 acre 65.000 sure the house is crap. but all you need is a Huge garage and put the main living area above it. I thinks a 2500SQFT shop with the house above it would work nicely. Oh and you can have a second story porch to pick off the skunks at night. Just use one of these. It's on my things to get list. 22cal air gun with a Shrouded barrel for quiet shooting. $560.00

Well I got my notcher today. This will speed up Version 2 of the next build. No more band notching. But I got plenty of practice at it, thats for sure.
Now I can also do offset notches.

Just make time every evening like me. Just think of it as your therapy truck. If you don't work on it you'll go crazy.

Camoit- Just buy a .22 rifle and a box of Remington sub-sonics. Cheaper than the air gun and even more effective.

If ya want some real fun, buy a suppressed 10/22 and a box of sub-sonics. Gun will go *click* and that's about it.

Ya,, try to find one.. The breach needs to be machined to fire the shorts. There just ant enough gas to make the semi auto do it's thing. The only one I have ever seen the hole barrel was turned into a silencer and totally modified to fire the shorts. But it was cool. Way cool. You could shoot all night long and no body would know.

Suppressed 10/22 are 100% custom jobs, usually with a pricetag of ~$2000. You also need a Class III firearms license for the suppressed/full auto weapons.

Just buy a cheap Marlin bolt action .22LR, bolts will cycle the shorts like anything else. Just not a Magnum, the throat is too long and will be pitiful on accuracy (freebore can be good, but not that much). Mind you, you probably aren't taking 50 yard shots, either.

I'm on my way to the Frog Follies in Evansville, Indiana today to pick up my new Woodward Fab tube bender. I'm doing something different with mine to start off with, so I'm getting 1 1/2" square dies with it, will buy other sizes and round dies later....Looks like a very nice unit though, saw it at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville a couple of weeks ago and decided this was the best one for the bucks...
