I don't know much about this system but I don't want to burn. It.down

If you’ve installed a Weber, the reed valve no longer functions so it can be removed. Some Weber kits come with caps and plugs used to delete the SAS components. Removal shouldn’t have any adverse effect on the truck.

I'm in the process of a webber install thank u I figured it wouldn't hurt mybe not the absolute pinicle of eco tech but I'll put out a little worse exhaust if it means I can use the same old truck

As you said, all the secondary-air/reed-valve setup does is supply fresh air to the exhaust stream to help any residual unburned hydrocarbons finish combusting, so the only effect of deleting it is your exhaust will be a bit dirtier, should not affect running/driving at all.

The control box on the driver side it looks like all it controls is the carb so can I rip it out when doing my webber swap

Yeah, with a Weber swap you can remove the control box on the driver's side inner fender and all vac hoses connected to it. That will also leave a few threaded bolt holes on the inner fender, which you could use to mount a relay for an electric fuel pump.

Thanks guys sadly my fuel pump was already in play on the wheel well and I'm not currently set up to move it to the rear were it belongs but I was worried I killed some vacum electric mombo jumbo ..so I got this I think ....I might be pretty close to carb in ...I'm cleaning as I go I have two redundant filters and and a regulator so I'm almost set
