Hi, Just did a compression test on my 89' 2.6 4x4 (g54b). Got 150(#1)-90-180-180, does anybody know if it is common to get low comp on #2 and could give me his 2cents on what would be the most probable cause. I've used a bore scope camera on #2 and it looks like there are metallic debris on the top of the piston. I'm planning to do a leak down test anyway before removing the head. Thanks y'all.

At the current, sounds like you have a rebuild in your future regardless of what caused it; and a leak down test would be futile. The general rule of thumb that I was indoctrinated to was a maximum of 5 lbs. variance from highest to lowest cylinder.
