Long time lurker, first time poster.
Proud second owner of a 1987 Mighty Max. I paid 1200$ for it and it currently is sitting at 155999 Miles when I parked last night. It is my daily driver.

I have had the truck for around 6 years now and I am from Florida, currently living in DC, and in April I am shipping it out to Hawaii where my wife and I are moving.

I am currently running 15x10 bart steelies in the rear and 15x8 in the front on some Toyo R888 Proxes.

I have a lowering kit on the way and then i will be measuring fitment for some fender flares.

When (IF) this engine dies (or i find some spare time) its going to get a carbed, small block V8, with a 5 speed so I can keep things simple. (fuel, spark, check)

You guys have helped me a lot over the years with questions and repairs, hopefully I can get into helping y'all out one day!

Welcome , looks like a good base/platform to start from .I have to ask why buy fender flares to lower the truck ? If you're going to put a v8 I personally would want to lift the truck .I'm guessing being an 89 it has a 2.0 ? That motor will last another 6 years if it's taken care of properly. I had almost 300k on my motor that was still running.before I just decided to rebuild it .
