Hello! Picked up a 92 auto, with about 80k on it!
Now I'm experiencing the adventure of out of production exhaust manifolds and a series of rusted bolts and broken studs, hooray! Truck runs pretty good otherwise, gets me to the hardware store and back anyway.

Hi and welcome to mightyram. I believe the aftermarket headers for the G63B will bolt up if you head is a paired port in/ex. There are other options - I think the headers for a Montero sport (?) will work. Someone will chime in on that to confirm. Aftermarket headers will be a nice upgrade anyway over the stock cast manifold.

a custom header would be cool too, maybe calculate the length of pipes and make a custom tuned length header

Jrecee, welcome & thanks for posting pics of your straight truck, looks good  You have a blank canvas to work with :)
May I make a comment (without malice) as a senior citizen with poor eyesight & slow reaction time; it would be a challenge (for me) to see your truck on the road... Especially on overcast or cloudy days it blends into most backgrounds; I often miss seeing silver colored cars... My ex wife had a totalled silver colored 1994 Toyota Corolla; the guy that hit her said: "I didn't see you"... It would help me to see your truck if it had, tire shine, polished wheels, bright lights, racing graphics (any color other than silver) just saying, ok... I've started to make a habit of turning on my headlights because just driving scares me anymore; other drivers dart around so dang fast... Hope they see me..?

Ha! I'm with you on that, my other car is orange. Normally I'd never buy one in this color but the price was right! It's growing on me.
I have spent hours digging through the forum on manifold solutions and did come across the guy in California who has built the customs in the past, I am considering that since I know it would last a lifetime. The issue right now is the disintegrating seals. The main leak is right where the stud broke off, unfortunately I'm quite sure with their condition, that the others will break as well when removal is attempted. I have a quote to remove and repair it around $300. I suppose I could just go for that and once studs are repaired swapping with the custom header at a later date would be pretty easy.

DG no longer makes that header - lack of demand.

these guys have new rwd 4g64 exhaust manifolds for 2004 L300
$500 nzd which is probably quite affordable in USD. I see a few tube manifolds around too

Don't know if the L300 headers will be compatible with a Gen 2 - something about them not being long enough or fouling somewhere...

Now these will fit paired port engines (G62B/G63B/4G64....AFAIK) $135 USD but no idea if they wanna ship to the States -

Was there a 1.8 truck? I know there was a 1.6 (4G32) but that's an individual ported head :scratchheadyellow:

Thanks for the info! It looks like the manifold gaskets were successfully replaced and the manifold isn't cracked or anything. Hopefully I'm good to go for a while!
