1988 mighty max

Just found a 1988 mighty max with 42.000 miles on it put a new battery in some new gas it it started right up . it is clean in side and out no fluid leaks cool little truck . the only thing i can find is it needs windshield wiper but it is missing the pin that hold them on the people I got it from had them attached with plastic raps .

Hi and welcome to mightyram. Those are some outrageously low miles for an '88 truck. Getting retaining clips for the windshield wiper blades shouldn't be a problem, some new aftermarket blades have them included otherwise you'll be able to scavenge them from a JY. Standard stuff for all the noobs - post pics and ask questions. :thumbup:

The bare wiper arm has a nub on it. The plastic clips of the right kind of wiper will slip on and that nub will lock it in place. There is a detent to push to get it off.
