EGR DELETE on 6g72 12v v6

Has anyone ever removed the egr valve from a 6g72 12v?

Block off plates exist. Not sure weather or not it throws a CEL, but easy enough to remove.

You want something like this. Ive used this for my 3000GT. I believe the EGR plate is identical. Cant remember what else our motors have on them and if the other plates are required. Sorry I pulled by 3.0 out of my MM several years ago.
