Center link/ relay rod for 94 Mighty Max?

Changed my pitman arm the other day and still have major play in the system, especially at the pitman center link joint. Seems like the centre link is bad. Only problem, this piece does not seem to exist for sale new anywhere? I checked the usual online stores, O'Reilly, Napa, etc. Doesn't exist. Found one from a Mitsubishi oem parts site for 170 bucks! I feel like I'm missing something here, someone clue me in please?

I have a feeling that they may not available as an aftermarket part. Unless you can either get a good used unit or somehow figure out how to take it apart and refurbish it (I have no idea if that could be done...) you may have to fork out the coin for a genuine one... if they are even available.

Does the Pitman hole on the center link look worn?

Are you sure you got the nut tight enough?

Is it possible the play is coming from the tie rod joints?
