So right now I have a Weber on the truck (installed by previous owner). The EGR system has been removed from the truck, and I am wondering how one would go about doing a throttle body injection install. What's compatible and if any of you have done it yourselves, please tell me how it turned out for you.

a number of 2.6 carb-to-throttle body injection conversions detailed on pirate 4x4 forums
Although turbocharged was the end game, some drove them before the turbo was added and claimed that drove better & outperformed the weber
You can usually pick up a complete TBI or the parts, for very reasonable price(or cheap) from starquestclub 'classified' forums
Loom + wiring is simple, ecu is rock solid reliable. Components still alive after 30+ years. System 'tweakable' too

Sample D50 conversion here: http://www.sqperformance.com/forum/index.php?topic=93.0
