transmission transfercase

First post is there a seal between transmission and transfer case? 1987 km145 trans don't know transfer case #. Had the unit out to replace leaky input shaft seal now refilling oil threw shifter and comes out transfer case drain hole.

Welcome to the site. There is a seal between the trans and transfer case. They’re separate cambers so you can’t fill the trans via the shifter opening, only the t-case.
