ok so i just replaced my TPS and i adjusted it according to specs with a volt meter i think right around .50 is what i ended up calling good... So now a different issue has reared its ugly little head.. now im getting the check engine light and starting it after its been setting for a few hours is becoming difficult and when it finally does start it sounds horrible until it starts warming up, and heaven forbid you bump the accelerator pedal because it sounds like its bogging down.. now once its warmed up totally different story.. seems to run ok but still has the check engine light on..
ANY THOUGHTS , ADVISE, ???
BTW its a 92 mighty max 2.4L, single cab, 2wd
Thanks

check the capacitors in the ECM - they are known to fail and cause all kinds of issues.

Get a diagnostic run on the ECM and check for error codes. It will go a long way to figuring out what it's doing (this is one of the few advantages of using new school - you don't have to play super sleuth most of the time when something glitchy happens)

Had to do it with an analog voltmeter but if I'm correct the codes it gave was 13, 15, 21

Rescanned it now it's only codes 15 and 21 which I believe is idle control sensor and coolant temp sensor.. already replaced TPS, so I will be replacing those two next and we shall see..
