My toolbox I think measures 60” but amazon says the 60” toolboxes don’t fit. Anyone know why?

Because they're not experts...? They probably have a average dimension for most similar light pick ups and the Mitsubishi tub trays are slightly bigger

a 60" one wont fit in mine, because i have factory tub tie down bars running from the wheel well to the front of the tray. This means to fit between those bars the box needs to be either 55" wide, or lifted up off the bed by about 3".
If your truck doesnt have them, then no issues there

Any pics of your rig? I have no idea what a tub tie down bar is, nor a tray.
Thanks.

Is this acceptable (60") or should I get the 63" one? I think the 63 might protrude a bit. Thoughts?

The 60" is the way to go IMO. If you were unlucky enough for something to clip the toolbox due to it protruding out of the tub, the ending could be disastrous. Plus it could generate wind noise - great when it's right behind the only opening windows...
Looks good back there
