Parking Brake Warning Light STAYS ON

Heck, a new bug; although the brakes & parking brake are not stuck or on ~ the red dash light stays on... It has been working fine since April; anyone else ever experience or fix this issue..?

Any help or ideas appreciated; my old body don't wanna get under the dashboard...

Check the brake fluid level switch in the master cylinder. Sometimes they can go a bit glitchy and jam from being jolted which can show a false brake fault (or check your brake fluid level...)

Oh my goodness, I'm ignorant; these trucks have some slick features... That light might mean more than I thought it could, will check fluids tomorrow... Thanks mate geezer...

geezer ~ OK, you were right ON ~ we checked brake fluid level today & the master cylinder was very low ~ No more red BRAKE light ~ it's off now...

I thought the red BRAKE light was only for indicating release of the emergency brake...
