Hello,
l just got my electric fuel pump(Carter4070)and Webber carburetor(DGEV)on. It runs but is very rich. Smokes at idle .can someone get me close to the right jet combination. The one I have now is stock Weber. 140 mains 60/50 idle air Corrector Jets 170/160. Any help would be great.

The air corrector jets (also air bleed jets) - there's a few names for them. The table I posted up was taken directly from Pat Bradens Weber guide.

Ok,but it lists air Correction 1.75&1.45 then idle air 1.5&.70 this is where it looses me. Also mine is DGEV I am hoping dgav are the same.

Ok so the codes for the carbs are sumpin' like this - D = down draft throat. G or F = throttle rotation/orientation (I think...) E or A = choke type (electric or water) and the final code could freakin' mean anything - variable or synchronised (V or S), what vehicle manufacturer the carb was configured for etc. It's a bit ambiguous.
