Just got this today. After driving the D-50 for so long, this truck seems enormous! But, if I'm not mistaken, the Dakota is what replaced the D-50...please correct me if that's not the lineage.

3.7 4-wheel drive, automatic, pretty basic except air conditioning. Nice interior. Not sure what to do about the huge dents on the passenger side, but for now, I'm not concerned about it.

Wow brutal dents. They look like they will more or less pop right out though

To some extent. But the metal is creased, so it'll still be nasty.

The Dakota was the in between truck for Dodge, and it eventually replaced the Ram 50s but not directly - Dodge just quit importing the Ram 50s. The Ram 50s were showing up the Dakotas so they had to go...

Yep, that's the logic of a US car company. We're on a good thing here - lets burn it to the ground :lmao:

Thanks for that input, Pennyman.

A couple photos of the two "Dodge"s together.

I used to have a 97 Dodge Dakota, I'll have to find a pic. 4 cyl, 5 spd manual.
