Listed on the local rummage sale page in Central SD I don't know much about diesels and 1st gen trucks but though you guys might want to see it.

Picked these up, neither of them run though. Miscommunication between the owner and his son who posted them. He has 3 or 4 more on his property though, all gassers with decent bodies on them. None of them run

Welcome Abomb! I'm glad you rescued the diesels! I hope you enjoy them. Are they 4wd?? Were the gassers pre 1987, do you think? I'd like to find a front grill for quad headlights...

Looks like D50 ranch is about 8 hours away from me....

all of the D50's he has are pre 87, mostly 4wd. I was trying to get a front grill from him, but the only quad headlight grill he had left was on a truck. it was just a shell (no motor/tranny/wheels) but the body was pretty good

Here's a few pictures of the two I was able to snag. brown one is going to need some head work, anyone have a lead on some cam holders for a 4d55?

the red one actually runs, needs a FULL tune up (glow plugs, timing belt, fluid and filter changes, alternator, battery, V-belts, tires) and a few other minor parts, but drove it around before tearing it open. going to get it going and putt around in it while I fix the brown one. both are royals, and both have 70k original miles
