Hi guys,
Looking though the site here and the manual it looks like the bed skirts on the US trucks (possibly here too, but mines not) are removable. Mine were welded on.

Wondering how your ones are actually attached?

1st and 2nd gen bed skirts are bolted on. Geronimo's were welded on when we filled the seams in - his bed has no seams for the skirts, taillight boxes, or the panels across the back of the bed - it has a custom roll pan grafted into the rear pans. And the side marker, front and rear, are "floating" - bolts welded to the pans / fenders and the markers install from the back.

Interesting, my 2nd gen tray is all welded too.
Might be a nz market thing. I noticed that the cab end panel and the wheel wells are a bit different to the ones i see on here too.
If anyone with a 1st gen tray could take a photo of where the bolts are i would appreciate it. I think i will probably weld the rear sections on, and keep the fronts removable for some undertray storage boxes

our boxes are totally different - there are no external tie down hooks and the tailgate latches are bear claw latches with a center handle on the outside of the gate. even the wheel wells are different inside of the bed. taillights are about the only thing shared between the boxes

The first gen one has no external tie downs and has the centre handle tailgate. i did notice the wheel wells are more rounded on yours

Wonder what the South American ones look like

Still interested in seeing how the removable skirts are mounted. Expecially the models with the under tray battery

Chapter 23 in the manual, page 3 has a blow out diagram. There might be more.

Edit- on page 9 there is a diagram (fig 9) that indicates where the bolts connect the skirt
