Hello everyone
I have a 1986 Dodge d50 that's my daily driver about 90miles a day to work and back.
I've had 5 of these trucks since 1989 n this one I'm keeping lol. Bought it 1 year ago from a gentleman who got it from a government auction as it was a military vehicle with only 88k on it
Since purchase I've done engine rebuild cause rings we're leaking from lack of being driven , rebuilt carberatur n complete exhaust system from manifold back , new tires n rims n interior work. I'll post pics once I've learned how to post them.
Thanks, jay

Hi and welcome to mightyram. 88k on the clock for an '86 D50? That is rare but under the circumstances I can see why. If you're putting 90 miles a day on it it's clearly getting a good workout. It says a lot when someone keeps going back to these trucks - owning 5 of them over the years is unusual (most people will only acquire a few of them just for parts trucks)

When I got the truck, it didn't look like this. I installed bucket seats from a 1993 honda accord, a grant steering wheel, stereo and speakers, painted door panels, and made my own headliner. And did a lot of degreasing on the inside of the truck.

Just wanted the truck to be comfortable as I was going to be driving it every day.

No trial - straight to execution :cussingblack:Your newest truck looks pretty good. I can imagine the interior must've been looking tired from being used as a military base gopher. Not a lot of love but nothing you havn't already sorted out. The vintage 5 slot magnum wheels are trick
