water pump

istalled the new pump 2.4l and even used silcone on the bnew O ring and it leaks. can I reseal it with out taking it off?

where is it leaking from? the gasket?
I'm afraid you are going to have to remove it and really clean the surface to remove any old gasket, that's usually the issue

no it's leaking from the round tube in the back where the O ring is placed. I put rtv on it as well as the gasket but it didn't seal.
