Front Seal Removal

How do you guys take out the crankshaft front seal?

I can't get a hold of it.

So I got it out by punching a hole in it so I could get the seal tool hooked on it.

But I'm still curious how others would have done it.

As above. A small screw through the face of the seal and yanking it with a pair of pliers will (most times) dislodge the seal. As long as you don't do anything to scar the crank.
