Hi, guys. I know it's a shot in the dark.
Anyone have the hood stripes for the 80 Arrow Sport truck?
Mine are a little faded and would like to replace 'em.
Thank you.

Any vinyl sign shop can make new ones for you. BTW, the truck looks great from the MOD meet - Frank Eck posted lots of pictures of your truck.

No luck at my local wrap shop. Says it's too complicated for their machine to replicate.

That's a load of crap. They just didn't want to do the job. All you need to do is send pictures to this place or drawings.
Call Burt. http://vehiclewrapsinc.com He may want the overall length.

I can send them to you VIA UPS if you want. But he should do it. I also have a place in TX that will do it.

I'm starting work with a sign shop that says they can do the entire job. I'll get you the contact info if they are able to do it. should be the same for the Dodge as the Plymouth except the tailgate.

I was just thinking if you replace them stripes, you may want to over size them a 1/32in possibly. All them years under a decal and the paint won't fade as fast as the un-decaled areas. You definitely don't want the unfaded edges poking their heads out from sides of the new decal. Just a FYI thought.

That is a very good idea to oversize. The vinyl quality is much better today as well as the print software.

All True, but wouldn't that make the Perfect Guide to put the New Stripes back on ???
At least you'll know exactly where they go ! LOL

A little extra never hurts - it also allows for variations from truck to truck.
