Where can I get some steel braided brake lines for the 4x4 D50? Can I use the ones they offer for the 2WD or do I look for the 1g Montero lines?

I had a complete set made by Classic Tube in New York. I purchased cheap replacement lines on the net and sent them to be duplicated.Had them make the lowers 2" longer for the Baker extended travel a arms. They did an outstanding job. Everything right on the money. About $300 for everything delivered.

Whoa that seems pricey. I had a pair of teflon sleeved SS braided hoses made up for a project a few yeas back and they cost me $65 AUD each. Really helped the brakes bite compared to the old rubber hoses.

To be clear, the price I quoted was for all rubber lines on the truck, from the master cylinder to the rear end. Made them all in stainless. I believe the price per line was close to what you paid.

Plus they can stop the truck when you hit the brakes. Doesn't seem to bad priced for a complete brake line replacement and Steel braided brake lines.

O.k sorry, I read that as a pair only. Reasonably good price then :)

Sorry if I wasn't clear, all the lines were done to stock length but made the lower ones 2" longer per John Baker due to extended travel a arms. I sent a stock line and said to make it 2" longer. Rest were done as stock. They are D.O.T. legal, come with hardware etc... Very happy with the service.
