Hey guys, just wanted to say hello. Just picked up an 80' D50 G52B and started tearing into it for a project truck. Looking to keep it original as possible but will be looking for pointers and parts along the way. Pics to follow as this project gets going.

Hi and welcome to mightyram. The 4G52 is an unsung hero and will rev happily with the usual mods. 4G54 headers will bolt up to it and with port work, a good flowing exhaust and a carby swap it will haul.

Thanks geezer, funny you mention the header as there is a crack at the #3 junction. It's out getting welded right now as the top had a "tick" the previous owner mentioned and shut it down and let it sit. I pulled the head off and it's out getting new valves and guides and being recut. Hopefully all of that will solve the issue. Should have the head back this week.
