2nd gen 2wd R&P

I read somewhere that the R&P from a 6 speed 3kgt will work in the 2wd rear. Is this true? will the lsd work as well?

not sure what you want to gain from the swap. There are LSDs on ebay that fit our truck for far less than the one from a 3kgt, although the gearing choices are not as good.

Well im spinning 2800rpm roughly at 70-75mph on the aw372 without lockup. So i would like to put more load on the truck and lower the rpm. Think my diesel would be happier.
3.308 is the tallest i know of, and from what i remember reading, should fit my rear. I also have a open diff, so if i take off in a hurry i just smoke 1st/2nd and dont move, which sucks

the challenger / sapporos had a 3.2 gearing I think - possibly colts and arrow cars also. They may be 8" gears, but I am not sure - check with oldcolt in the colt forums - he is the expert with those cars.
