i have a 1988 dodge ram 50 with the 2.6l automatic i replaced the factory carb with a
Mitsunishi Dodge Mazda Genuine Weber Carburetor Conversion Kit Electric Choke
32/36 DFEV Electric Choke
now the problem i,m having has to do with the plate that mounts to the intake there are 4 allen head screws/bolts{please see pic}
16437
after a few's days of driving it seems the screws back off and i get air sucking threw the bottom plate which as you can imagine cause's issues i pull the carb apart down to the plate and sure enough the bolts/screws will be loose.
each time i try and tighten them down a little more three times this has happen i,m afraid i will get them to tight and warp the plate or worse snap the bolt.s/screws i'm thinking about using loctight any ideal on this or a certain brand or is there any thing i can do to stop this issues.?
thanks for all input and advice.

You could also try using marine grade stainless steel bolts - they are of a higher tolerance and the thread pitch has a better bite.
