There is a spare tire release bar somewhere on this forum. Check through my post, I know for sure I posted an image and measurements of one because someone else asked about making one too.

maxdsm after searching over many web sites this is what i ran across it seems to be the one we need here is the web site but you can no longer buy theses that i have found as of yet. http://www.factorychryslerparts.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_product=4461829&ukey_assembly=608101
here is a pic of what i found on there 16415 if you look close @ the handle you will see a little plate that i never thought of them doing. so i think i might try my luck and making one like it hope this helped

I also have another piece I'm not quite sure what what it is if you want I could get a pic. I thought it was for lug nuts but it doesn't fit so I use it as a handle for the spare removal tool.

He probably dangling like a carrot, lol. If it is for sale, it should be in the For Sale section of the forum. Maxdsm is a long timer and I am sure he knows that rule. If he doesn't, then he must of bumped his head on a bumper sliding under his truck. But probably not :P SO I guess he is showing off his cool collection.

Just a parts and idea list I have for the truck . Can't wait till after winter to finish completing the truck. It runs and drives and that was my first priority.seeing I don't have.
