Rear diff. gear size

Greetings guys, got a question the other day from a guy. Is the rear ring gear on the 1987 Power Ram 4x4 8" or 9"? Thanks (can't locate my spec book...:)

the 87 power ram 2.6 4x4 is 8" - if its a 3.0 then its a 9"
