Anyone aware of a link for one of these assemblies for the first generation truck? My turn signal broke a few winters back on a -20F morning and now I support the blinker with a piece of paper to keep the signal from constantly blinking.

Yep, same, but for some added reassurance I bought this as a spare because they do brake easy. Dealer wants 250.oo for one and I dont know how long this place will have them for this cheap.Unless you luck up and find one at a j-yard for cheap.

Yea the pic is upside down .Got this in today .I'm going to hook it up tommorow and see if it works. I don't expect the intermittent wiper part to work seeing how the old one does not have this .Or maybe I just need to clean the wipers off or get a new wiper motor because the move very slow.

Yes , pennyman . It had the extra pin out on both ends of the harness.
Unc . Be patient it takes a while to go thru customs.

No wiper motor is the same . It's separate on the drivers side firewall under the hood.

The new control allows more settings for the wiper motor..Notice the more options on the wiper stalk.

I meant does the switch assembly make the wipers intermittent alone or do you need to switch out the motor ass too?

No switching out the motor is not needed it works intermittently by just plug and play .There is an extra set of pin outs on the new harness and old harness that take care of that part to make it function fully.

maxdsm Thank you for the tip on the switch! I ordered one a little over 2 weeks ago and it arrived today. I didn’t install it but did plug it into the harness and checked all the functions (it took a couple of seconds to figure out how to how the plug unlocked (push in on the long sides of the plug to release). Everything works, including the wiper delay (my truck was not equipped with the delay function). I bought it as a spare. but when I get a chance I’ll probably go ahead and install it just to upgrade the wipers.

I used to build/modify older vehicles for a living and from experience know that past a certain age some parts can become almost impossible to find either new or good used. As I suspect that that time is rapidly approaching for these trucks I’ve been collecting spares when I can find them at a reasonable price. The $250+ that most places wanted for the switch was way more than I wanted to pay for a spare and figured at some point I might get lucky and find one at a wrecking yard…….you saved me a fair amount of aggravation.

About the only thing I’m still trying to find now is the hazard light switch….anybody have any leads?

Finally installed mine...fitment is ok, nothing really to complain about for the money but mine was a tad bulkier all around and caused some issues with the steering column trim. Nothing that would keep me from buying again.

I would assume it would. They never changed on the second gens as far as I know/have seen.

I also got mine last week, haven't installed it yet but it looks like a nice product. Maybe I'll try it this weekend

One thing to note, though. The new wiper control stalk is longer and closer to the steering wheel than the original style.
I haven't hit mine yet, but I can bump it when I'm turning hard. Might have to get another spacer behind the steering wheel.

Yeah, the MOMO that I have is pretty flat.
I already had to add a spacer between the wheel and hub to clear the light switch column stalk.

So, I ordered the switch on July 25th and received it on August 5th. Less than two weeks. If anyone needs one, I recommend my link above, it's about $34 and well worth it. I already installed it and it seems like really good quality. I have a 95, by the way.

This probably won't work in a gen 1 d50/Mitsu unless you reseat the new wires in the old harness. I pulled one off a 91 mighty max in the jyard and it's got the new pin system and bladed fuses.

Individual AliExpress vendors and their links come and go, but AliExpress still has these combo stalk switches listed by other vendors there, so I think this thread is still valuable to keep stickied for that tip.

Another tip: they seem easier to find by searching for the general export model name L200 (and related L300, aka the Delica minivan) -- e.g., by searching for "mitsubishi l200 combination (https://www.aliexpress.us/w/wholesale-mitsubishi-l200-combination.html)" -- rather than more market-specific names like Triton, Forte, Strada, Mighty Max, Ram 50, etc.

Also pay attention to LHD vs RHD, as well as the wiper stalk settings to make sure they match your original switch; some have only 2 speeds, others add intermittent.
