Hi Everyone!,
My first post!
I have a 1991 Mitsubishi Mighty Max 2wd with 250k miles on it.
I could really use some help/advice. I have recently been told that I need to replace the lower control arm bushings in order to get a proper wheel alignment. They are shot so I do see the need to replace them.
My first question is, what else would you recommend I replace as long as I'm down there? Like shocks, or other bushings. It looks like there are a few things that I may as well do as a preventive measure.
My next question is, other than the Haynes manual (which I have), is there anywhere I can go for step by step instructions. I think I can do it with Haynes but I would like a back up if needed.

Thanks and I really appreciate any help or suggestions you could give me.

Welcome! I'm sure you'll get some good advice shortly. At 250k, I would look at getting a complete bushing replacement kit and inspect your shocks before just replacing them. They're pretty easy to pop on and off to see if they still have a gas charge. Look for the Rock Auto discount thread on here.

Welcome,

Also with that kinda mileage I would inspect the power steering rack if you have one.
