I have a 91 2wd ram 50. I noticed my truck is starting to squeak pretty loud. I know it's coming from my lower control arm bushing because I heard it coming from that area and when I sprayed wd40 on the lower control arm bushings the squeak went away, but it only last for a couple of days.
i need some help on which lower control arm bushings to buy. If someone could send me a link of the lower control arm bushings to buy it would be very helpful.
I have seen these bushings for sale. It says it fits my truck, but I don't see how it would work (link):

Also, If anyone could please list the steps to change the lower control arm bushings, it would be very greatly appreciated. I want to make this job as smooth as possible

Yes those are the correct ones. You need to disconnect the lower ball joint from the spindle and also remove the coil spring(be careful and have a jack under the control arm when doing this). Then pull the inner mounting bolt for the control arms and change the bushings and lube them up with quality grease then reassemble. We have manuals some where on this site that should help out.

Okay. I noticed those bushing don't come with the inner metal sleeve. Do I just press the old metal sleeve out of the old lower control arm bushings? I seen many kits and none of them came with a new inner metal sleeve.

There is no metal sleeve in the lower bushings, just a bolt that goes through them. 2wd correct?

I have never seen a metal sleeve in the lower control arm bushings on a 2wd and I have pulled apart and changed them on trucks from 87-91

check out the control arms by Dorman. You can see it in the picture.I remember the steel sleeve was in there which seemed strange.

Hmm that is strange as I have never seen one on a truck that I've done. But it does look like in the pic that control arm has a sleeve in the bushings, quite odd lol

If you have the right tools and know what you are doing nothing is difficult. Difficulty usually begins when you start trying to figure out how to do something the hard way. Coils springs can be dangerous if you don't have a plan. Check out this you tube video. This guy is using a safe method without a coil spring compressor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1akqSJE0ss
