I took my 2wd in for emissions last week and it passed no problem. I installed the Weber last fall and have been concerned about the emissions test. I leaned it out to the max for the test and had a full tank of premium fuel. They use a 2 speed idle test with a sniffer in the tail pipe. Here are my results.

They don't even measure NOx, that sure helps!

They don't use the dyno any more. I have a vacuum line going from the EGR to that aluminum box on the fender just to pass the visual. It does nothing.

That's is a TON better than what my 91 with Fuel Injection tested 2 weeks ago on the Ontario Emmisions

I started registering my trucks in a county that doesn't have the emissions requirements. I know.... be jealous.

Well it still passed. Have you ever had the cat replaced?

No... they said I probably need one. Probably an O2 sensor also.
Your runs really clean compared to mine.. that's for sure

seems good. Not sure since the speedo cable broke and I'm having a heck of a time trying to get another one that isn't coated in gold... I have been using the GPS on my phone right now for a speedo.
I'm figure maybe 25MPG?
Hard to compare to the 33 I get with my neon

I just got a complete interior out of a '91 with a 2.4L automatic. When I pulled the cluster the cable was there. I left it there as I didn't need it. I got the whole interior for $150. All I left was the heater box and blower. I'll bet he'll sell you that cable for less than anyone else. http://www.tracyauto.com/. If that doesn't work for you check out mitsubishiparts.net.

yes it was quite a drive for me as well. When I called Tracy's I was looking for a back slider window that car-part.com said they had. When I phoned them I found out they had the whole truck. You can use car-part.com to find recyclers close to you that might have what you need but they don't advertise it. For example; J and B Auto Wreckers in Windsor has an automatic tranny, engine, bed, and control arms for a '91 Ram 50 with a 2.4 litre. They probably have the truck with with the cable you want still there. I call a lot of places looking for parts and sometimes it pays off.

I'm off tomorrow so I will call. I'm near Chatham ON so it's not to far to go.
It seems many more had a stick then automatic.

Most of those places on car-part.com will ship. Thats how I got my LSD diff.

Yes they will. I guess it all depends on what your getting. If what you want is worth the cost of shipping and going to get it is impractical it's great. I like going to the recyclers and taking off my own parts when I can. I usually find more than what I was looking for in the first place and I get to inspect the stuff before I pay for it. When I get to the counter with a whole lot of stuff I think I get a better deal. Instead of them trying to price each part individually they just look at it and throw a round figure at you. Then you get to haggle a bit..lol

they are getting scarce. http://mitsubishiparts.net/parts/index.cfm?siteid=218241 might have your cable. They do ship to Canada but I think it's best to call the 1-800 number and order. If they have it it will be a brand new Mitsubishi part. The cable for the auto trans is listed at $48 U.S. I've ordered from them a few times and they're reliable. They're in Washington State so 3 hours behind us.
