Sorry if this has been asked before, but i looked and couldnt find any information. I have a 88 MMM that i have some z71s for. When I originally put them on I used the stock lug nuts and broke 11 of the 12 studs on the back. So what kind of lugnut should I be using? Again sorry if this has been posted a million times

you need a bulged lugnut - it is wider to fit the z71s on our trucks safely

If you don't have the right lugs, you will have to center your wheel on the hub each time also. It will cause it to act egg shaped if not lifted and spun and chalk the high spot to recenter the wheel. Had this problem with another car for years, it caused a shimmy until I found the wheel lugs were wrong.

When you say bulge, do you mean acorn? Thats all it brings up when I searched

You need to look at the rim first. If it has a cone shape around the studs then you will need to find the lug nut that mates to the cone. There can be different angles to diferent lug nuts. Our trucks use a "lug piloted" type of rim, not a hub piloted like a big semi diesel truck has. If you use the wrong nut you will know as the truck will try to shake it's self to death from the tires and rim being off center.
