Hey i have a 87 dodge 50 2.0 and want to put a 406 chevy small block in it and trying to figure out what is the best rear end to put in it

Hey guys i wanted to go ahead and start my build thread so here is my 87 ram50 that im bout to start my 406 sbc swap in the truck has 187,000 miles right now it has the original 2.0l that is bored .030 over and has 70k miles on it since rebuilt. I may sell it along with the 5 speed manual trans since im putting the small block in it here are some pics of truck along with the motor that will soon start being put in any input would be appreciated 1270912710127111271212713

I've got a 4.3 in mine. You"ll see more Fords and the Dodge in these trucks because of the oil sump being forward.
Yeah Chevy's can work, but don't really sit down low enough because the rear sump and the trucks steering.
Eventually I cut the trucks IFS and replaced it with a 74 pinto IFS (Mustang II design).
You could try a Corvette dry sump oil pan set up, but it won't be cheap.

I thought bout doing a 4.3 but decided to go small block and as far as the oil pan that aint a rea big problem I can get that figured out
