My 94 max with the 2.4l melts the fuses for the blower motor and the tail lights/brake lights. I didn't mind the fan not working cause during the colder months I was just going to drive my 4x4 but now I think I want to fix this issue. I know it's been on going because the chiltons(?) That came with it has the electrical area about the heater control head is ear tagged.

Has this been an issue for any others? I was thinking about cleaning all the grounds but then I swore I read resistance is caused by the power not making good connection so not sure where to start now.

make sure all grounds are in great shape & use di-electric grease wherever possible...you know check battery ground to cab, frame, engine etc...(i add grounds)...i added a ground cable for <$1.00 @ rockauto promo code 2512172320978579 til November 9, 2014; so don't wait!
