what size is the seatbelt bolt on an 89 MM?

I bought my 89 Mighty Max and it didn't have a passenger seat belt. I bought one to install, but am having trouble figuring out which size bolt to get to thread into the floor hole. Anyone know what size this bolt is? thanks!

From what I can tell it 'should' be an M10 metric bolt. Thread pitch is either a 1mm or 1.25mm (got a feeling it's a 1mm but seeming you're only buying a really limited number of them, buy both thread types and return what you don't need)

Thanks, Home Depot's selection is shit, the M12 definitely didn't fit and I got an M10 that didn't fit either. I'll try online to buy both of the other types and see what works. Thanks!

I have seat belt units still in my parts truck. If you want to PM me your address, I'd be happy to mail the bolts to you. Let me know if you want the center 3rd-passenger ones, too.

Mighty Max Pickups, along with Dodge and Plymouth had a seatbelt recall that replaced the seat belts for free because of deteriorating plastic buckles that would break inside the buckle causing possible injury to the persons inside upon impact or collision. Check with your local dealer for records showing your belts have been replaced. If not, then you know what to do. This is still a standing recall on just about every mini truck made (not sure of exact years) by the Mitsubishi corporation.
