Cam Bearing Kit

Has anyone installed a cam bearing kit in their 4G54 or similar engine? Where did you buy the kit? How much did you have to bore our the journals and caps? Are you happy with the result? Pros and Cons? Thanks.

rockauto has the kit - I have not done one yet. Geezer may have done one - usually not worth the cost unless you cannot find a replacement head - bare new non jet valve heads are about 250 or so, not that much more than the cam bearings and the align bore of your head - still have all the other parts to replace either way.

I haven't done a cam bearing mod on my head - I've tried something else but I will need to send my head back into the shop for a pressure test and they can judge if the cam journals are fragged.
