The names Brad and I picked this up over the weekend for $1k. Body is straight and the motor sounds great but the carb likes to hesitate when starting up. The steering has a lot of play and at highway speeds it was a little sketchy going over bumps in the road so it will get off the ground this weekend. There are a couple head scratchers that I will have to figure out as well as the pics show.

this plug is connected to the ac compressor but what little time I have spent looking at the truck I couldnt find where it goes. When connected to the battery, it kicks on so it has to go to some kind of control

Consider upgrading to a Weber carb and Carter fuel pump (many threads on these upgrades) and try the Pitman Arm Rebuild Kit on RockAuto.com to fix the steering slop.

Welcome! Super clean truck and factory AC is an uncommon option.

I placed the order from RockAuto......why have I not heard of them before now? That place is great on prices and has almost everything. I am in eastern OK, near FSM.
