Need help on a gasket question

Does anyone know if a gasket is used between the front plate and the oil pump gear housing plate. The gasket kit I got from Fel-Pro did not supply one and I think there was none on the old doner truck that I pic the part from. I am swapping out my smaller pump for the larger 87 oil pump and wondered if I should make a gasket for this spot or just use blue RTV between the plates.

9625"mitsubishi truck service manual" does not list or speak of any gasket. i would make sure it is ultraclean & torque to upper limits listed on schematic

Thanks Ragtime, I put a ultra thin coat of blue RTV and did exactly what you mentioned. Thanks for the info.
