Hello guys!! I'm sure you figured out that I'm a newbie to the site. I just scored my first Mitsubishi late last night. It's a '94 Mighty Max w/ 3.0 V6 and 5speed. It has auto hubs which I've never really liked in any other vehicle I've owned, but oh well. The rig runs and drives fine with the exception of a front end alignment needed since the PO hit a curb and twisted the tie rods pretty good. I'm planning on dropping it off at the shop one day this week to get fixed. It also needs a windshield, but it will pass inspection because it's not in my line of site. As for my plans with it...............I am really not sure? I guess I will enjoy it for a bit and decide if I want to go mild or wild. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions. I've been(still am) a Toyota fanatic for the last 20+ years. I've been wheeling them just as long. I guess I'm turning over a new leaf:)).

I'm agonizing with this, myself. I will be putting in a trailer hitch at some point, but I don't want a typical truck bumper. I actually want to find a chrome one that is straight on top, with a license plate "arch" on the bottom...something off of a 70's car. Meanwhile, I'm always careful backing up!

That would be cool!! Might be a challenge getting one that will be the correct length.

Yagh, my first step is to measure the width that will fit. I plan to just walk through a junk yard and see what catches my eye, and also at the yard sales here...out in the country, there's stuff that's been in barns forever. people bring it out and YOWZA you find treasures.

If and when I find that bumper, I'll post photos of it on, and let everyone know what it's from.

It's sort of amazing that so many of these trucks have no bumpers, but for their age, the rear ends seem intact. All of 'em have a few dents, but not many look like they've been wrapped around trees or telephone poles.

that is because the way most of them were made, the slop packs in them and they rust off. My gfs 2006 silverado the bracket for the trailer wiring receptacle rotted off the rear bumper.
