Hey does anyone know exactly how to remove the oil pan on an 87 mm 4x4? I have the vehicle jacked up and the sway-bar disconnected on one side. there are two bolts i cannot reach that are right above the front diff. Any help is appreciated.

Interesting, the factory manual says remove all the bolts, I guess it assumes the engine is out of the vehicle...

it actually said they are assuming the entire motor is still in the vehicle. I have to lift the motor up in order to do it.

the oil pan is back on. took some redneck ingenuity it keep the motor up in order to take the pan off. didnt use a gasket just rtv silicone make a gasket. just waiting for it to set up a little bit before i tighten everything down. next project is replacing the pinion seal.
