The dash center console on the '93 MM was basically destroyed by the previous owner trying to mount some lame stereo system and there's a crack in the passenger side.
My old '90 MM has a perfect dash and I would like to just swap it out as a whole unit, except the instrument panel.
I'm hoping this is 8~10 screws and a couple electric connectors. :(

I'd be interested to know too. I found one at the bone yard and would like to swap mine out.

There are the 8mm nuts around the front and the Philip's screws along the windshield. It will just slip out easy once you have everything else out of the way.

The only pain in the Ass part is the cables that actuate the heat/air and vents

I was hoping to avoid that part.:(

I've had the dashes out of both my 88 and 89 and there are some hidden bolts in those. Under the speaker grilles on top of the dash for example. I also seem to remember its either bolted to the steering column or had to drop the column to get it out. Either way it takes a few hours to do an R&R.

Even the cables aren't too hard, its just finding the room.It can be done in a few hours as Andy 2 said, and no it isn't bolted to the column

I seem to remember popping the bucket seats out as well just to have enough room to get underneath it and pull the antenna out of the radio and mess with the heater connections. For the sake of 8 bolts it made things a lot easier. I found that the steering wheel was a big obstacle so I unfastened the column from the bracket below the dash and let it drop down out of the way.

I checked out this process on a couple trucks in the junkyard this weekend and I'm going to wait until I strip my parts truck before i decide to do the swap.:(
But I was able to grab enough interior parts to put my current dash back together, so for now I'm focusing on what to do about a stereo. :)
