so ive been looking all sorts of stuff up lately. i came across isuzu pickups. they seem to have almost the same ifs setup. the upper control arms look very similar, besides the bolt on ball joints...anyone else wonder? if they were to magically fit whats to stop us from putting some balljoint spacers for lift?

I know a guy with a 85 ram 50 that he put a 392 blown hemi in and he used the isuzu frame because it is front steer and torsion bar, but otherwise the same. Are you talking 2wd lift or 4wd lift?

Let us know what you find. If it works out be sure to take pictures and do a full write up in the tech section. Once it's done we can make it a sticky.

Combined with the torsion bars he sold in his kit, gave about 3" of lift but with an awesome ride and handling. Have the kit with the sway bars and bushings, using Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shocks and rear springs. Have the Baker dual shock kit but didn't weld that up yet.

That's some rare equipment you have there-doubtful if 10 people in the USA have it. I kick myself every time I look at his truck. Almost bought a brand new turbo diesel MM in 84 and had a buddy that raced the Baja 1000 in a MM that was going to help me set it all up with Baker parts. Bought a toyota 2 wd for work instead. Stoopid!! What I wouldn't give for a little time travel.
