So today I went to relpace my oil pressure safety switch and this is what the end result was
5033

I didn't even make it really tight or anything it just kinda happened. What would I have to do to fix this because currently it is undrivable obviously. Oil would spout all over the place so I am not even going to crank on it until I can fix it.

Its looking like my fuckup wasn't too bad. I believe it is just three bolts to pull the housing off then get a new gasket and put a new(junkyarded) one back up there. I am hitting the junkyards first thing in the morning

Would the housing off of a 2.0 out of another bishi work, like the square body gallant, first gen eclipse etc.?

I've seen that happen before. Just weak casting. Be lucky yours wasn't in a vehicle that the oil unit went into the upper oil pan. That was a b**ch job. Unfortunately I think this unit is specific to the trucks. The galants use a 2.4L and it's slightly different than the 2.0L. I think the cars the filter screws into the block.

Thats the other part
Would anyone know where I can get the I guess I would call it the oil filter housing?? I went junkyard hunting all day today with no avail. I could see if a dealer could order one for me but I want to exhaust all other options before I do that

you should be able to junk yard that part and get a gasket.

I went to every junkyard in my area yesterday with no luck at all. I only found one MM and the motor was gone

I thought I had a spare one laying around after da rebuild.. Camo asked me about it the other day and I checked, but I realized it old housing ended up being reused since machine shop didnt put a new one on there..

I thought of that too, or permabond aluminum filled epoxy - that stuff can be used to drill and tap castings, and is oil and gas resistant.
