Hello I'm new here, but never the less came with questions. First is where can I get a aftermarket grille, preferable straight bar and gloss black?

Ebay is your best choice

Richard! You made it. Here's a link to the Phantom Grille you're looking for. Good luck with your truck, and hit me up anytime.

HA, Hey Sergio didn't think you would find me that fast! Man that grille is cool but I'm not digging the polished look. Its way too much to buy to repaint too. Guess the searching continues...

Thats about the only aftermarket grille you will find for these trucks, other than stock replacements

your only other choice is to get a phantom grille for a 81-87 fs chevy pickup and cut it down to fit - they are relatively cheap and available in polished, satin or black finishes.

Ive heard of that, any particular model of chevy truck? How hard would be to cut to fit, how delicate are they??

fullsize chevy pickup - its a billet grille, so it will be plenty strong to cut up without weakening it. Hacksaw or cut off tool - its aluminum.

Stull used to make a square tube grill for the 2nd gen D50. I have one on my truck. Called them a couple of years ago to get a spare, no longer have the jigs. I was aleto buy one on Ebay for about $50 a year later a guy w/ a speed shop was closing out. There also may be a Trenz billet grille for the 2nd gen. but have never seen one.

Stull is out of business - folded last year. Trenz never made a grille for our trucks as far as I know.
