I have a 2.0 Mighty Max 2wd Im doing a 4g63t swap very soon and in need of finding a driveshaft spacer about 1.5in this is so i can move the engine forward for clearance... Didnt know if anyone knew of any trucks or suv that use the same driveshaft flange

Thanks
Mike

I have never herd of one. It would be best to take the drive line to a shop and have it rebuilt to the length you need.

i would look at droppedmitsu's truck he did the swap. Look in his profile for his photo gallery or his build thread. it might give you an idea on whats involved.

Without any bending/cutting of firewall you're going to want to go atleast 1 7/8" if you want to be able to work/get at things on the back of the motor. I just got my driveshaft lengthened, but it wasnt too expensive because i have a two piece driveshaft and they just made a new piece for the shorter piece.

I'll just have to see what my Clarence is like... I was going to bang the firewall a lil or cut part out and box it I just have to see how much room their will be when I mock up the 1g eclipse dash

You may be able to find a front driveshaft section the right length from the 1st gen 2wd trucks - each tranny had a different length front driveshaft. I think the lengths are in the manuals posted online. If your truck has a 1 piece driveshaft it won't help you.

good luck with the eclipse dash. I was thinking about doing it too but it was way too low and came too far back into the cab for the shifter when I put it in my parts truck and took up too much space, but it could be made to fit for sure.
