Trying to replace my broken/missing a/c coolant switch, the unit the parts stores list don't fit the oem connector. I've been looking to see if it was superseded but no luck. Here's what I'm looking at, or do I just change out the connector?

That's a coolant temp sensor not the A/C temp switch. You might have to go to Mitsubishi to get one if your local parts store doesn't have a listing.

Yup as I told you in an earlier thread of yours, that is the coolant temp sensor.

well it's not that either, the temp switch for the computer has 2 prongs, 1 horizontal 1 vertical if that makes sense like picture, funny thing is Auto Zone is the only store to show it, the others show what I have....but none fit my connector

Josh, the picture above part # SU306 photo from Auto Zone web site, it's what I have connected to my fuel injection harness?

Hmm actually maybe that is the sensor, i can only find that sensor for your truck ans your right the temp sensor nfor the ecu is that two prong one. You might have ro f new connector and solder it on.

I finally found it, man that was a work out....it seems it only fits 95 and 96 models, but it's it. Hopefully this will help someone else in need of the same item. Here's what it looks like and found it here http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Mitsubishi/Mighty_Max/FAE/Coolant_Temperature_Sensor/1995/Base/4_Cyl_2-dot-4L/W0133-1632235.html

W0133-1632235-FAE is the part number and I had this sensor factory on my 91 MM so it does fit and work. The connector will be tight tho just so you know.
